The Reading Doctor  Speed Reading Formula

With all the marketing fantasia about the powers of speed reading there is a growing interest. In actuality, speed is just an important aspect of speed reading. Equally vital is organized reading (pre-reading) that adds up to a doubling, tripling or quadrupling in overall speed with maximized comprehension.
So that, where:
WPM
= overall words per minute,
V = velocity, r = Recognition Rate,
M = Memory Mode, R = Reading Process, and
p = Pre-reading Plan,

then:
WPM  =  V(r × M)  +  R(p)²

The Reading Doctor 7-Star Speed Reading Technique enjoys a natural superiority to most techniques because it is an eye-to-page system, not eye-to-hand-or-pen-to-page. As such, The Reading Doctor 7-Star Speed Reading Technique is unencumbered by the motor reflex system, fundamentally endowing it with more speed, but also more precision. The eyes are well qualified to do, with greater accuracy, any pinpointing of data or cropping of the page the hand or a pen could do. Each eye has seven muscle systems.

These muscle systems must be trained for precision work. There is no known limit to what the human can achieve between the photographic function of the eyes and the interpretive functions of the visual area of the cerebral cortex (near the rear of the head). So, we can see that reading takes place from the front of the head, through to the back of the head.
